School is currently closed expect for provision for vulnerable children and children of critical workers. We understand this will be a challenging time for many of our families as you try to juggle home schooling along with your own work and responsibilities and we will do our best to support you through this time. Below you will find copies of correspondence that has been sent to you in regards to our remote learning provision this term as well as a copy of our Remote Learning Policy and some useful guides.
Some of you have expressed difficulties in accessing digital learning due to lack of laptops or wi-fi access. Below you will find guidance about how to complete MT assignments using a smartphone as an alternative option. Please note our school have also been provided by the DfE with a limited number of laptops and data cards that can be used by families who do not currently have access to suitable technology for remote learning and these are in the process of being set up for use. Unfortunately, we do not have enough for all families and can provide printed packs of learning is necessary. As part of our calls to check in, our team will check your technology access and will need to prioritise which families receive this support. More information will be sent out to relevant families in due course.
We also have a limited number of free mobile data cards for students without broadband and/or who can’t afford extra data for devices. Three, Smarty, Virgin Mobile, EE, Tesco Mobile & Sky Mobile all taking part in the scheme.
